They dedicate their time not only to their own businesses but also to the success of other tutors. A cruise offers the perfect mix of work and relaxation, with days at sea for strategic planning and ports of call for exploration and fun.

For me, cruises have always been a family favorite—offering adventure, all-inclusive amenities, and the opportunity to travel while meeting my S-Corp’s yearly business meeting requirements. It’s the ideal setting to balance work and play.

Reflecting on an Incredible Year

This year, our team achieved something extraordinary: Circle recognized us as a Platinum Community for our unparalleled engagement.

Since moving our group out of Facebook, we’ve quadrupled our interaction, creating a space where referrals between tutors have skyrocketed.

Looking ahead, we’re excited to track how many referrals tutors receive and measure the financial and educational impact our community continues to make.

Our Vision for the Future

This retreat was about more than just celebrating our achievements—it was about setting a bold vision for the next year.

We decided to:

• Grow our community by 400 new members.
• Double the size of our leadership team by February through an application process.
• Implement monthly team meetings, where leaders will connect with smaller groups of tutors for support and collaboration.

Together, we’ll also track the number of students served and the income earned by tutors, showing the tangible impact of our work.

Exploring the Bahamas in Style

The cruise wasn’t all work—we made time for amazing excursions and experiences, including a stop at Nassau’s newly revitalized cruise port.

Nassau Cruise Port: A $300 Million Transformation
Nassau, the capital of The Bahamas, has recently completed a stunning $300 million redevelopment project to enhance visitor experiences and support the growing cruise industry. Officially opened on May 26, 2023, the port now features:

• Increased Capacity: Able to accommodate up to six cruise ships simultaneously, including three Icon-class vessels, with daily passenger capacity increasing from 20,000 to over 30,000.
• Modern Facilities: Visitors are welcomed by a sleek arrivals plaza, a Junkanoo museum celebrating Bahamian culture, authentic local retail and dining options, an organized transportation hub, a world-class amphitheater, and beautiful green spaces.
• Cultural Emphasis: With over 70 local businesses—including craft stores, food vendors, and tour operators—the port showcases Bahamian heritage at every turn. 
• Enhanced Infrastructure: A new berth and refurbished piers mean larger vessels and more passengers can dock seamlessly.

During our stop, we enjoyed shopping, soaking in the vibrant local culture, and exploring the stunning new amenities. It was a fantastic way to experience the energy and history of Nassau while supporting local businesses.

We also took an antique car tour to delve deeper into the island’s history, learning about its government, underground tunnels, and even how the world’s wealthy use its banking systems. It was a perfect mix of education and adventure!

Some of us also enjoyed wave-jumping at the beach in Bimini, lounging in shaded cabanas, and even catching a well-deserved nap on the luxurious outdoor beds.

Planning IMPACT Live 2025

One of the most exciting parts of the retreat was planning for IMPACT Live 2025, our live event where tutors connect in person to learn, collaborate, and grow.

We used one of our full days at sea to finalize the agenda, create breakout sessions, and brainstorm keynote topics that will help tutors achieve success in the coming year.
